I DON'T KNOW I don't think it matters to be terribly strict about these things. We'll be seeing the points show up on their own at any rate, and the prompts are only 5 apiece anyway.

I think this was a good setup for keeping track of points as per the way things were last year, with two separate bonus rounds going on at once to maximize the amount of points we were earning and to make sure we contribute something to everything. I think right now it's mostly good to see what our standing is on these rounds and to share our creations with each other.

BUT I DUNNO WHAT DO YOU GUYS THINK

I didn't know the bonus rounds were going to overlap! I'm eager to see the new schedule when the mods have the time (I suspect things are still overwhelming!), planning ahead is fun. And it's good to keep track of things like that to keep everyone on track. But I don't think five points is something to be dismissive of, I mean after 15 fills are only worth that much. Competitions are won on small things.

I don't think we need to regulate prompts so much as just have check in every few days so we can tally up what points came from what. I personally like having numbers, if no one else is into it that's fine too.

Ps Dawn, am I totally confused? I thought the point scale was for entries total in the post, so like, 30 points for the first five entries from any team, not 30 points each for the first five entries from EACH team. Is that right?

I just re-read the instructions and that sure does seem to be what it says! Seems a bit silly to me though that there's a race to get fills in, especially considering we count them all at once, hahhaa

I don't think any of the other mods are around but I'll ask them about it.

No rush! This round is the best whatever the point structure.

I was actually just admiring the 5-point fill/5-point prompt thing for the majority of the post--it's kind of elegant because it ensures that people will be less likely to try to spam fills for points, instead opening up a ton of prompts and increasing creation!

One of the mods didn't want prompts to be pointed at all, but then we have no incentive. I'm glad it's there too, I just hope everyone's putting a little thought into their prompts.
